GeSHi is what it says on the box: a generic syntax highlighter. And an award-winning one at that. It started life in New Zealand as a project of Nigel McNie and has since attracted numerous contributors who have added support for dozens of programming languages.

Egressive is an open source software company, specialising in web applications built on the Drupal framework and Ubuntu Linux server infrastructure and support. We provide strategic IT consulting services and assist businesses and organisations in migrating to free and open source infrastructure, both on the server and the desktop. We maintain a significant open source hosting infrastructure and provide managed services both in New Zealand and overseas data centres. We have additional skills in helping businesses incorporate OpenOffice.org as an alternative to Microsoft Office.
We are a Christchurch-based, wholly kiwi-owned free and open source company founded in 1998. Egressive is one of the four founding members of the thriving Christchurch-based Effusion Group open source business cluster (created in 2002).
