Thanks for updating us on the state of LCA 2010 in the newsletter. I was just curious what kind of participation you envisage user groups will be able to have in the conference, e.g. stalls, stands, etc?
As an example, I noticed that the Open Source Conference[1] scheduled for February 29th, 2008 in Tokyo has quite a number of UGs participating.
I think there's a typo in the newsletter referring to Wellington applying to host LCA 2008... I suspect it should be LCA 2009, given that I was at LCA 2008 a few weeks ago in Melbourne. :)

Haven't given it much thought. We will now, however.

No, the text body says 2010 and that is what we are aiming for. LCA 2009 is going to Hobarth, should be a good one.
Apologies for the typo though.
Well spotted, Don - silly me. I even have a fridge magnet with "LCA 2009 - Tasmania" sitting in front of me. Doh! *slaps forehead*
